BoatKit hardware
A quiet bridge between the networks aboard.
BoatKit runs on compact onboard computing built around Raspberry Pi, with the interfaces and services needed to turn separate marine systems into one local platform.
Designed to stay aboard
Core operation belongs on the boat.
Data collection, charts, alarms, histories, and the viewer run locally. An internet connection adds remote reach, but it is not the foundation under the helm. Vessel mode still connects to BoatKit Cloud for registration, periodic service communication, and notification relay.
- Multiple independent marine CAN and raw NMEA 2000 interfaces
- Dedicated Ethernet links for marine networks
- USB devices for vendor buses, CAN, audio, and video
- Local storage for settings, charts, history, and diagnostics
Purposeful interfaces
Add the connections your boat needs.
A mixed-brand refit should not require replacing working equipment. BoatKit meets existing systems through standards-based and native interfaces, can probe supported hardware and networks through integration auto-discovery, then presents their data through one model.
Start at the interfaces
Map the boat before choosing the box.
The final hardware configuration depends on the data buses, marine networks, cameras, and specialist equipment already aboard.
