The onboard BoatKit remains the source of live vessel state. BoatKit Cloud authenticates the connection, maintains recoverable state, and serves remote viewers without moving core helm operation off the boat.

Vessel mode registers and periodically connects for service communication and notification relay. Owners can separately manage ordinary remote store streaming, public viewer access, invited people, roles, memorable viewer addresses, and verified notification destinations.
