Power monitoring and history

View supported batteries, charging sources, inverter/chargers, AC inputs, temperatures, and power history in one model.

Power systems tend to expose many devices while the operator is trying to answer a smaller set of questions: which sources are supplying energy, where it is going, how the batteries are doing, and how long the present state can continue. BoatKit maps supported Victron, Mastervolt, Calex, and other equipment into shared concepts such as batteries, solar chargers, inverter/chargers, converters, and AC inputs.

Depending on the source, the resulting view can include state of charge and health, voltage, current, power, capacity, estimated time remaining, temperature, charging stage, and shore or generator context. A mixed-vendor installation can therefore be understood as one electrical system without hiding the identity or diagnostics of the equipment that supplied each value.

History adds the part an instantaneous dashboard cannot show. Review charging cycles, solar production, changing loads, shore-power periods, and forecast context over the same time range. Supported controls remain tied to their integration and require the appropriate BoatKit access level.
