A compatible SIONYX Nightwave appears to BoatKit as a USB video source. It uses the same camera identity, profiles, naming, diagnostics, and saved-view placement as other supported USB cameras, so its low-light image can sit beside the chart, depth, or radar without a separate Nightwave-specific control system.
A tablet needs a data-and-power arrangement that exposes the camera to the operating system while keeping the tablet usable. A dedicated BoatKit device can leave the camera connected and available around the vessel. When the vessel has suitable connectivity and bandwidth, the same supported stream can be opened remotely through BoatKit Cloud.
Compatibility depends on the Nightwave model, its USB video behavior, the BoatKit host, and the adapters between them. BoatKit is not affiliated with or endorsed by SIONYX.
