A watermaker and its freshwater tank are one practical system even when their original controls do not communicate. For a supported Spectra Connect installation, BoatKit can use the selected tank level while operating the watermaker and stop production above a configured target.
An administrator can start, stop, and flush the system with its current run state, acceptance state, faults, and service information visible beside the controls. The tank selection and stop threshold remain explicit in the interface, so the automation is understandable rather than hidden.
Available production rate, pressure, product-water quality, water temperature, voltage, and run-state measurements enter BoatKit’s shared data model. They can be reviewed later in history and placed beside tank level, batteries, and charging sources in a custom dashboard—useful context for deciding when to run and for understanding how a completed cycle performed.
