When a BoatKit browser display encounters an unexpected error, a Send crash report? dialog lets you review its error details, BoatKit build, page path, and browser information before sharing them with BoatKit support. Send report submits the report; Not now dismisses it without uploading. Reports join the same private diagnostic system used by the mobile apps, so support can connect a display failure with the affected vessel and software version.

Automatic reporting is off by default. Check Automatically send future crash reports without asking when submitting a report to send future reports in the background without opening the dialog. You can also change Automatically send crash reports under Settings → Preferences → Crash Reports for the Viewer you are using. Reporting requires a signed-in BoatKit account and Internet access for upload. Pending browser reports can wait locally for up to 24 hours while vessel operation continues independently.

Reports capture JavaScript and React display errors. A browser process that is killed or runs out of memory cannot report its own termination through this mechanism. Browser reports include error details rather than screenshots or a full recording of vessel activity, and are available only to BoatKit support administrators for 30 days.

Read Send a browser crash report for the controls, offline behavior, and information to include when contacting support.
